1st session--
This is the initial lay-in of color. A very important concept that Whitaker keeps drilling into our heads is to keep this initial color strong, I guess another word for it would be saturated. If a color leans cool or warm push it that direction, you might realize that you're not too far from the actual color.

Another thing Whitaker keeps reminding me is that in painting you're always working on the drawing. Loosing edges, moving shapes and reestablishing form. Always drawing.

One more important area of painting is brushwork. Creating interesting strokes. Bill talks alot about the "wall presense" that all great paintings have, brushwork is a very important part.

Now refining value and color.

Here's the latest...quite a few more sessions to go, but it's a good start.
