Girl with Braids - Part 5

Finally...color. I've begun to block in warm and cool colors, not really focusing on details. I'm just trying to figure out how certain colors relate to each other. Purposefully making the colors more intense, they can be knocked down later. As Whitaker told us, "We (us artists) need to make pictures more lively than photographs - it's what justifies us as an artist."
