Posthumous Painting cont...


I've now worked extensively on the colors in her face, doing away with the previously mentioned mud. I'm much happier with it now, although there is still alot of work left to do here.

I have been meaning to comment all week, but I'm glad I waited because of all these new posts! It's looking nice...I have to say that one of the most impressive things are your "sketches" when you begin because they are so beautiful, and the remembrance of them only adds to the beauty of the finished work. I'm so glad you are keeping record of them here...

BTW, congrats on your acceptance into "A Stroke of Genius"

I've been enjoying documenting the different stages the paintings goes through. And this way I can see where I went wrong if a painting doesn't turn out! :)

And thanks about SOG, it's very exciting to be listed among those very talented artists.
