Recently, a friend who frequently visits my blog accused me of having a "construction blog" opposed to an art blog. I guess the many posts about the studio construction has made at least one person wonder concerning the state of my blog. So to reassure, here's a post proving that I'm working on things other than the studio...

I have an idea for you to satisfy your fixation with construction. Why not paint yourself painting a portrait in the middle of your unfinished studio? Perhaps something similar to Norman Rockwell's self portrait. But, this time have construction workers constructing things all around you.
