Posthumous Painting

Well, I've haulted work on "Girl with Braids" to work on this posthumous painting that has a very quick deadline--less than a week. I'm told by my better half that I do some of my best work when it has to be done quickly, so that's reassuring--right?

The first photo here is my initial sketch, only about 15-20 minutes into the project.

In the second photo I'm working on values (although they're very rough) and placement of big masses.

And in the third I think everything is in its place and proportions are good.
