Painting Study from Life

I somehow talked my youngest sis-in-law into sitting for me this weekend so I can work on painting from life. This was painted entirely from life, taking about 6 hours total--we took lots of breaks. It was lots of fun and a good exercise, since this was the first time I've painted from life in a long while. The last and only other time I painted a portrait from life was when I went to Whitaker's workshop over a year ago. I've got some drawing problems here, but it's just practice. I'll get better.....right?
