The saga continues...
I didn't get much work done on this last night, but most of the time I spent was working on the hair. I think I finally decided what to do with the background--check back soon to see it.

You don't know me, but I'm a friend of following her bliss; in fact, I may be the friend she referred to in her comment on "Girl With Braids - Part 8," although I can't be certain of that. As she, my 7th grade history teacher, and high school art teacher could all tell you, I have absolutely zero artistic ability; therefore I'm fascinated by anyone with natural talent, and my limited understanding leads me to believe you have it in spades. I'm thrilled that following pointed me in your direction. It's fascinating to watch the process, and I'm SO glad you decided to share it with the rest of us by posting it here. For what little it may be worth, I'm thoroughly impressed! I hope you don't mind that I'll be checking back often...

I'm glad that ms. bliss directed you to my blog and that you visited. Actually, following her bliss is a very good artist herself, although she'd probably never admit that. I'm also glad to hear that someone I don't even know likes my work and enjoys seeing my process, that's pretty cool.
